Find Services page allows you to enter the following information to search for service providers:
Service Category: Enter the type of service that you are requesting (e.g., Handyman, Plumbers, Accountant, etc). As you type, our system will suggest services that you can select.
Zip: Enter the zip code for the area where you would like to have service providers perform the service. Don’t know the zip code where you want your service performed?
Click here to look it up.
Distance: The furthest distance away (radius) of the service providers you're interested in -- the broader the radius, the more service providers will receive your service request. Be mindful, however, that service providers may only travel so far.
After clicking
go, the Results page shows the service providers that match your request:
Your Email: Enter your email address. Service providers will receive your request from
customer@gorango.com and will not have access to your actual email address.
Service Description: Service providers will read exactly what you write in the service description field. So, you want your description to be thorough enough to adequately describe your project. We suggest you provide specifics, such as details about the project itself, potential start or completion times, your quality or price expectations, etc.
You will then submit your request, gorango will send an email to each service provider that fits your request, and service providers will contact you directly by email -- all keeping your identity anonymous and free of charge!
No. It’s absolutely free for customers to use gorango to find service providers. We pride ourselves in keeping our site free for our customers to use.
No, not currently. You can choose only one service category per service request. However, you can perform as many requests as you like.
We guarantee that it is! The service providers receieve your request from customer@gorango.com and will not have access to your actual email address. Note that if you respond back to the service provider's response, it will then be sent from your email address.
Yes. The radius drop down allows you to search multiple, neighboring zip codes in a single service request. When you enter a particular zip code and select a radius, our system will indentify all the zip codes within your selected radius.
As long as you like (up to 500 characters). Please remember that service providers will read exactly what you write. So, you want your description to be thorough enough to adequately describe your project. We suggest you provide specifics, such as details about the project itself, potential start or completion times, your quality or price expectations, etc.
After you submit a service request, the very next screen that appears shows you the number of service provider that received your request. You will also receive an email confirmating your service request that shows the company name of each service provider contacted.
When you submit a request, you will receive a confirmation email that will list each service provider's name that was contacted.
It depends. Typically, most service providers will respond within the first 24-48 hours. It may be shorter or longer depending on the type of service, the number of service providers that received your request, or other factors. If you have a time sensitive request, we suggest that you stress the urgency your request in your service description.
If you’ve already given service providers an opportunity to respond, you may consider resubmitting your service request. We suggest that you examine your service description for things that may discourage service providers from responding to your request.

info@gorango.com to cancel your request. Please give us specific details about your request, including what service you requested and your email address used.
No. However, we will be rolling out a service provider rating system for service provider ratings and customer feedback in the near future.
If you have not yet engaged the selected service provider, consider contacting one of the other service providers on the list or perform a new search. If the service provider has already completed the job, but your experience or the work product was not to your satisfaction, then please stay tuned for our service provider rating system, soon to be rolled out. You will have an opportunity at that time to rate that service provider and offer comments from your experience.
